Miguel Armenta Castillo

Miguel Armenta Sr, a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2025 at the age of 69. Miguel is survived by his loving family; his wife, Rosalinda Armenta; his children, Juan, Cristina, and Miguel Jr; his grandchildren, Daniel, Diego, Adriana, Callie, Selena, Zariah, and Lilly; and his great grandchild Azaelea, along with his maternal aunt, three sisters, one brother, nephews, nieces, cousins and in-laws. He is predeceased in death by his parents Patrocino y Cristina and brothers Matias and Cayetano. Miguel was born in Cerro Prieto, Chihuahua on January 22, 1956 to Patrocinio Armenta and Cristina Castillo. He moved to America in search of a better life at the young age of 16 and worked his way to become a permanent resident of Texas. Miguel became a prominent tenured figure at the Comanche Peak Nuclear Plant and later cementing his business Armenta Construction. Along his life’s journey he met and married the love of his life Rosalinda on November 29, 1977. This past year, they celebrated their 47th anniversary together. Together, Miguel & Rosalinda welcomed their 3 beautiful children, Juan, Cristina, and Miguel Jr, who were the most important part of his life. Miguel ensured his children grew up with a better life than he, paying for their various sports, college tuitions, and ensuring they had built a working craft that will set them up for life. Miguel was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved to be with his family. He enjoyed traveling, bowling, swimming, and cooking out. He also loved playing pool and was a very talented player. Miguel was a skilled carpenter and house flipper who often took on difficult and unwanted projects transforming them into beautiful homes, churches, businesses, and schools. Miguel loved to help neighbors, friends, and family with thousands of home repairs & projects over the years because he had a big heart & enjoyed helping people out. In his free time, you could always find Miguel laughing and joking being the center star of any gathering or watching his favorite scary movies or hysterically laughing at cartoons. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. We will forever miss but always remember his laugh, jokes, and love. A visitation stateside is scheduled for his family and friends in Fort Worth on August 7, 2025 at Amalla Funeral home. Visitation will be from 3-8 and the Rosary/Service will be from 6-7. Miguel will then depart to his hometown in Chihuahua, Mexico for his final celebration of life and resting place on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Miguel es sobrevivido por su amorosa familia; su esposa, Rosalinda Armenta; sus hijos, Juan, Cristina y Miguel Jr; sus nietos, Daniel, Diego, Adriana, Callie, Selena, Zariah y Lilly; y su bisnieta Azaelea, junto con una tía materna, tres hermanas y un hermano, sobrinos, sobrinas, primos y primas, suegros cercanos. Se mudó a los Estados Unidos en busca de una vida mejor a la joven edad de 16 años y se abrió camino para convertirse en residente permanente de Texas. Miguel se convirtió en una destacada figura titular en la Planta Nuclear de Comanche Peak y más tarde consolidó su negocio Armenta Construction. A lo largo de su viaje de vida, conoció y se c asó con el amor de su vida Rosalinda el 29 de Noviembre de 1977. Juntos, Miguel y Rosalinda dieron la bienvenida a sus 3 hermosos hijos, Juan, Cristina y Miguel Jr, que fueron la parte más importante de su vida. Este año pasado, celebraron su 47 aniversario juntos. Miguel se aseguró de que sus hijos crecieran con una vida mejor que él, pagando por sus diversos deportes, matrícula universitaria y asegurándose de que habían construido un oficio que los preparara para la vida. Miguel un devoto esposo, padre y abuelo le encantaba estar con su familia. Le gustaba viajar, jugar a los bolos, nadar y cocinar fuera en la parrilla. También le encantaba jugar al billar y era un jugador muy talentoso. Miguel era un experto carpintero y aleador de casas que a menudo asumió proyectos difíciles y no deseados transformándolos en hermosas casas, iglesias, negocios y escuelas. A Miguel le encantaba ayudar a los vecinos, amigos y familiares con miles de reparaciones y proyectos del hogar a lo largo de l os años porque tenía un gran corazón y disfrutaba ayudando a la gente. En su tiempo libre, siempre podías encontrar a Miguel riendo y bromeando siendo la estrella central de cualquier reunión o viendo sus películas favoritas de miedo o riendo con unas carcajadas con los dibujos animados. Su familia, amigos y todos los que lo conocieron lo echarán mucho de menos. Lo extrañaremos para siempre, pero siempre recordaremos su risa, chistes y amor. Una visitación en el Estados Unidos para su familia y amigos en Fort Worth el 7 de agosto de 2025 en la funeraria Amalla. La visita será de 3 a 8 y el Rosario/Servicio será de 6 a 7. Miguel luego partirá hacia su ciudad natal en Chihuahua, México, para su última celebración de la vida y lugar de descanso el Domingo 10 de agosto de 2025.
