Raul Arias Doporto Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Raul Arias Doporto, 77, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral Mass: 9:15 a.m. Tuesday August 9, 2022, at St Maria Gorretti, Arlington, Texas. Interment: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022 with a rosary at 6 p.m., at the Amalla funeral home. He was born in the Northside of Big Spring, Texas on June 12, 1945, to Florentino and Fortunata Doporto. Raul was a 1965 graduate of Big Spring High. In 1968, he married Lisa Canas and they had three children Raul, Mark and Eric. They later divorced. He proudly served as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army. Raul received his Masters in Business Administration at Texas Wesleyan College. In 2021, he married his long time girlfriend of 23 years and the love of his life Ada Noelia Carmona. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Carolina Arguijo, Maria Celia Garcia and brothers, Johnny Doporto, Florentino Junior Doporto, and Louis Doporto. Survivors: His loving wife, Ada Noelia Doporto; sons, Raul Doporto and wife Rachel, Mark Doporto and Eric Doporto and wife Melissa, Eloy Sanchez, Shannon Cruz and wife Stacey, Ashley Farsetti and wife Sarah; brothers Jose Doporto, Alfredo Doporto; grandkids Raul, Michael, Karina, Jose, Eric, Jonathan and Angelica, Albert and Gustavo; great grandkids Azekiel and Alijah, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
