Steve Thanh Nguyen

Steve Thanh Nguyen passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026; surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous four-month battle with Stage IV gastric cancer. He fought with strength, grace, and determination until his final breath, never wavering in the face of adversity. Born in Vietnam, Steve immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of 12 beginning a life marked by resilience and perseverance. From a young age, he learned to overcome challenges, a quality that defined him throughout his life. Steve was known for his generosity, sharp sarcasm, and infectious sense of humor. A devoted provider, he centered his life around his career in aeronautics to care for and support his 4 children, whom he loved deeply. He found joy in the outdoors and was an avid sports enthusiast. In his free time, Steve could often be found by the water, fishing, camping, golfing, or playing basketball—activities that brought him peace and happiness. Steve’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with kindness, humor, and unrelentless determination. He is preceded in death by his father Joseph Hoa Nguyen, and leaves to cherish his memory his mother Biet Thi Nguyen; Erin Isaac (daughter) and husband, Luis Isaac and their children, Aubrey Isaac, Liam Isaac, Luke Isaac, and Leo Isaac; Kenneith Dang (son); Kobe Dang (son); Jocelyn Dang (daughter); Kathy Nguyen (sister) and husband, Larry Nguyen and their children Jennifer Nguyen, Samantha Rivera, Brandon Nguyen; Tiffany Nguyen (sister) and children Bria Medders, Frank Palmer II; Eric Nguyen (brother) and wife Teresa Nguyen and children Ashley Nguyen, Allison Nguyen, Austin Nguyen, Ava Nguyen; Debbie Nguyen (sister) and husband Henry Pham with children Amanda Fields, Preston Pham; John Nguyen (brother) and wife Amanda Nguyen with children Emilia Nguyen, Mila Nguyen; Godson Enzo Nguyen and countless of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and loving friends. A Memorial Mass and Rosary will be held on Thursday, February 19th, at 6:00pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Viewing and Visitation will take place on Friday, February 20th, from 5:00-8:00pm at Amalla Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21st, at 9:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Fort Worth, Texas, with the Committal to follow immediately after.
